Local GP practices are working together to offer patients evening and weekend appointments. This means that you will be able to see a GP, nurse or other health professional at a convenient time.

We offer late appointments and alternate Saturday morning appointments for those patients who find it difficult to come into surgery during the normal working day.

Please contact reception if you wish to book one of these appointments.

When We Are Closed

Patients experiencing a medical emergency out-of-hours should telephone our surgery, where they will hear a recorded message giving clear instructions, and the current phone number for the out of hours service.

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call 111 to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Calls to 111 are free from landlines and mobiles.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
